Why buy a phone with USA 3G Technology?
B”H

Today’s smartphones are your lifeline to the world. Whether it be storing all your contacts, appointments and music or reading your emails and favorite blogs, your phone is your go-to device for connectivity and productivity.
If that is true, than what could be more important than your phone’s ability to easily, swiftly and quickly connect online? Your wireless internet connection is the backbone of your phone’s ability to function. That’s why it’s crucial that you understand today’s cellular landscape, and in particular, how it effects your wireless internet connection.
As a general overview, cellular technology in the USA can be broken up into two basic technologies: GSM and CDMA. Below is a basic chart of the main carriers and where they fall:
Carrier |
Voice | 3G/4G Technology |
| Verizon | CDMA | EVDO/LTE |
| US Cellular | CDMA | EVDO |
| Sprint | CDMA | EVDO/WiMax |
| T-Mobile | GSM | 1700Mhz 3G/HSDPA |
| AT&T | GSM | 850/1900Mhz 3G/HSDPA/LTE |
| Rogers | GSM | 850/1900Mhz 3G/HSDPA |
| Telus | GSM | 850/1900Mhz 3G/HSDPA |
Shopping online for a phone which doesn’t support your carrier’s 3G technology is, in my opinion, a waste of money, unless you only plan on accessing the internet via wifi.By default, your phone will only access the 2G network when 3G is not available. Here are some basic differences in speeds:
| Technology | Data Speeds |
| GSM 2G (EDGE) | Max: 256 kbps |
| CDMA 2G (1xRTT) | Max: 350 kbps |
| GSM 3G (UMTS/HSDPA) | 1200 – 2500 kbps |
| GSM 3G/4G (HSDPA+) | 2500 – 6000 kbps |
| CDMA 4G (WiMax) | 10,000 – 18,000 kbps |
| LTE 4G (both CDMA/GSM) | 15,000 – 25,000 kbps |
As you can tell, ensuring that your device supports your carrier’s 3G/4G data technology is crucial to getting full internet speed from your network data plan, and in my opinion, well worth the time and money.

Thanks for your post made here. One thing I’d like to say is that most professional caerer fields consider the Bachelor Degree just as the entry level standard for an online degree. Whilst Associate Qualifications are a great way to get started, completing the Bachelors presents you with many doorways to various jobs, there are numerous on-line Bachelor Course Programs available coming from institutions like The University of Phoenix, Intercontinental University Online and Kaplan. Another thing is that many brick and mortar institutions give Online versions of their diplomas but typically for a greatly higher payment than the firms that specialize in online college degree programs.
